In April 2022, a multi-year partnership was signed with Capgemini to provide Team Peugeot Sport TotalEnergies with cutting-edge digital tools dedicated to the overall optimization of energy management.

This collaboration aims to accelerate and optimize the development of the Peugeot 9X8, the hybrid Hypercar competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

Capgemini’s expertise in data analysis and artificial intelligence is being put to work for the Peugeot Sport team. This technological alliance illustrates shared values of innovation and sustainable mobility.

A veritable research laboratory for manufacturers, endurance racing is an ideal testing ground for perfecting energy management, both during acceleration and regeneration phases—a key element in the performance and reliability of the Peugeot 9X8.

The advances developed jointly by the Peugeot Sport and Capgemini teams will also benefit PEUGEOT production vehicles, contributing to improved performance and energy efficiency.
