TEAM PEUGEOT TOTALENERGIES SHOWED RESILIENCE DURING A PARTICULARLY DEMANDING EDITION OF THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS

• Team Peugeot TotalEnergies and its six drivers demonstrated resilience throughout the Le Mans week.
• The PEUGEOT 9X8 #94 and #93 finished 11th and 12th in the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans.
• Team Peugeot TotalEnergies scored six points in the FIA WEC.

This 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which marked the centenary of PEUGEOT’s first participation, did not deliver the result Team Peugeot TotalEnergies had hoped for. Lacking outright pace in qualifying, the two PEUGEOT 9X8s lined up 16th and 18th on the grid for the race start on Saturday 13 June.

In this highly challenging context, the six drivers remained fully committed throughout the 24 hours, completing long stints without easing off, including two quintuple stints for Malthe Jakobsen. Despite a rear-end assembly change on car #94 and a drive-through penalty for car #93 during the night, the team executed a controlled and disciplined race from start to finish, never giving up.

Both PEUGEOT 9X8s reached the finish of an unforgiving race, underlining the reliability of the package over the full distance. Car #94, driven by Loïc Duval, Théo Pourchaire and Malthe Jakobsen, finished 11th after 377 laps. Car #93, with Paul di Resta, Nick Cassidy and Stoffel Vandoorne, finished 12th, covering 5,123 kilometres without any technical issues.

The team leaves Le Mans with six championship points and a reinforced determination to improve. While the result falls short of expectations, the lessons learned will play a key role in the ongoing development of the project and its long-term ambitions.

With the FIA WEC season still in full swing, Team Peugeot TotalEnergies is already focused on the upcoming rounds, determined to keep progressing and return stronger. The team now turns its attention to the next race: the 6 Hours of São Paulo on 12 July.

Beyond the race itself, Team Peugeot TotalEnergies and the PEUGEOT brand enjoyed an especially rich and engaging weekend, welcoming more than 2,000 guests across the event.

Numerous activations took place at the Circuit de la Sarthe, including the PEUGEOT fan zone, where the brand unveiled the Polygon concept car alongside its Hypersquare simulators, the Cinema Drive-In Paradiso in partnership with mk2, and the manufacturer village, where PEUGEOT officially launched sales of the new E-208 GTi.

On Saturday 13 June, ahead of the race, the centenary parade brought together historic race cars and iconic road models on track. Several figures of the brand and motorsport world took part, including John Elkann (Chairman of Stellantis), Emmanuele Cappellano (COO Enlarged Europe Stellantis), Alain Favey (CEO PEUGEOT) and Pierre Fillon (President of the ACO) at the wheel of the PEUGEOT 908, alongside Éric Hélary driving the PEUGEOT 905.

Blending sporting performance with brand experience, the weekend strengthened the connection between PEUGEOT, its guests and its fans, in a unique setting where heritage and innovation came together.
