Team Peugeot TotalEnergies unveils its brand-new livery for the #93 and #94 PEUGEOT 9X8s, ready to compete in the 2026 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
Created by PEUGEOT Design in collaboration with Peugeot Sport, this new livery offers a striking new and dynamic interpretation of the “Hypergraphs” that express Peugeot Sport’s performance language, as well as a nod to the brand’s iconic claw motif.
The livery features a white-red-black colourway that pays tribute to the legendary PEUGEOT GTi models of the past and celebrates an exciting future on the horizon for GTi. With PEUGEOT set to launch the new PEUGEOT E-208 GTi.
Like the new E208 GTi, the 2026 livery of the PEUGEOT 9X8 helps perpetuate the PEUGEOT GTi legend while bringing fun and modernity.
Peugeot Sport unveils its brand-new livery for the #93 and #94 PEUGEOT 9X8s today, 26th February in the heart of Paris, at the prestigious Atelier Vendôme, during an event broadcast live on PEUGEOT’s YouTube channel. Poised for the 2026 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the PEUGEOT 9X8 can be seen competing on track with its new livery for the first time at the opening race of the 2026 WEC: the 1812 km of Qatar on 28th March.
The 2026 PEUGEOT 9X8 livery is the result of a close collaboration between PEUGEOT Design and Peugeot Sport, offering a striking new interpretation of the “Hypergraphs” designed to express Peugeot Sport’s performance language. The Hypergraphs serve as a dynamic motorsportinspired interpretation of PEUGEOT’s iconic claw motif, a signature element found across all of the Brand’s models.
These gradient streaks evoke the speed and constant motion of the 9X8 race cars which are constantly on the move. They also symbolise the continuous flow of millions of data points, with analysis and interpretation of such data becoming pivotal to competitiveness in a championship where the margins between rivals are incredibly small.
This visual language is carried through to the latest addition to the range, itself born from a collaboration between PEUGEOT Design and Peugeot Sport: the new PEUGEOT E208 GTi.
White, Black and Red: the 2026 PEUGEOT 9X8s take on the historic colours of the PEUGEOT GTi, first offered on the 205 GTi when it launched in 1984. The emblematic Okenite White takes centre stage and is the launch colour for the new E-208 GTi.
In June 2025, during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, PEUGEOT set the world alight, unveiling the new PEUGEOT E208 GTi. Offering exceptional driving pleasure and elegance, as well as the best performance in its segment thanks to its 280 horsepower.
As part of this celebration, at the 93rd edition of Le Mans, the Peugeot Sport Fanzone showcased a PEUGEOT 9X8 inspired by GTi design. A unique show car particularly appreciated by PEUGEOT fans.
Today, on the eve of its “GTi year”, PEUGEOT goes one step further in expressing its French charisma, as it adopts an entirely new GTi tribute livery for the PEUGEOT 9X8s #93 and #94 race cars, competing in the 2026 World Endurance Championship.
Legendary and modern. Like the PEUGEOT E-208 GTi, the new livery of the PEUGEOT 9X8 blends historic DNA of PEUGEOT GTi models with references to today’s creativity and technology.
The entire PEUGEOT TotalEnergies team adopts this new livery for the 2026 season, with various interpretations applied to the drivers’ race suits, team clothing and more. Every new surface sees a new interpretation of the livery.
Matthias HOSSANN, Head of Design at PEUGEOT, explains the livery vision: “The new livery of the PEUGEOT 9X8 is first and foremost further proof of the exceptional quality of the collaboration between PEUGEOT Design and Peugeot Sport. Hypergraphs that represent the legendary 3 claws and their expression of performance, and modernity with a colourway that represents the legendary PEUGEOT GTi spirit. Our aim is to bring an extra dose of emotion and enjoyment to every lap completed by the PEUGEOT 9X8.”
Alain FAVEY, CEO of PEUGEOT, stated: “The new livery of the PEUGEOT 9X8 perfectly illustrates the Brand’s ambition to perpetuate the legend of the PEUGEOT GTi: an elegant fusion of unique heritage, cutting-edge technological excellence. The livery expresses the synergy between the team’s performances on the track and soon, on the road. With a shared objective: offering our customers and the public the very best of driving pleasure according to PEUGEOT.”
Emmanuel ESNAULT, Team Principal of Team Peugeot TotalEnergies, said: “Unveiling a new livery is always a key moment for the brand and for Team Peugeot TotalEnergies. It symbolises the start of a new season and a new dynamic driven by renewed ambitions, while remaining firmly rooted in PEUGEOT’s heritage and identity. This livery fully embodies the spirit of the project and the close link between competition and the brand. It is also a valuable opportunity to bring our partners together to share this important moment that launches the 2026 season. We are looking forward to seeing it come to life on track in Qatar, at the opening round of the championship.
